Go to <strong>The Plus Settings<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Extra Options<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. So, for instance, add a button widget on the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Go to <strong>Advanced<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Plus Extras : Events Tracker<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Turn on the <strong>Google Analytics<\/strong> <strong>4<\/strong> toggle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. In the <strong>Event Type<\/strong> dropdown, you\u2019ll find two options &#8211;\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Recommended<\/strong> &#8211; For tracking the <a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/analytics\/answer\/9267735?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GA4 Recommended events<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Custom<\/strong> &#8211; For <a href=\"https:\/\/etemplates.wdesignkit.com\/theplusaddons\/docs\/track-custom-google-analytics-events-with-elementor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tracking custom events<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here we\u2019ll select <strong>Recommended<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Let\u2019s suppose we want to track purchase events, so select Purchase from the dropdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Then from the <strong>Event Properties<\/strong> section, you can add custom properties to the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Open the item here you\u2019ll find two fields &#8211;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Name<\/strong> &#8211; For adding a custom label to the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Value<\/strong> &#8211; For adding a custom value to the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can click the <strong>+ ADD ITEM<\/strong> button to add multiple custom properties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s suppose we are selling multiple e-books so we can add the book name and value in the Name and Value fields respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. In Google Analytics 4 it can take up to 24 hrs to show the events in the analytics. So to check the event instantly to know if it is working or not, install the <a href=\"https:\/\/chrome.google.com\/webstore\/detail\/google-analytics-debugger\/jnkmfdileelhofjcijamephohjechhna\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Google Analytics Debugger<\/a> Chrome extension.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Open the page in Chrome and turn on the Google Analytics Debugger extension. Reload the page and click on the button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>Note: Make sure your ad blockers are disabled, and you\u2019re not using brave browser. You can also <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.analyticsmania.com\/post\/debugview-in-google-analytics-4-not-working\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>read steps to do if your debug view isnt working. <\/em><\/a><em>all<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8. Now go to your Google Analytics then go to Admin > DebugView, here you\u2019ll see the events live.
